          Biodynamic Agriculture

Larmandier-Bernier is fortunate to work on a truly beautiful terroir. The estate hasn't opted for the easy path of conventional methods, but rather the far more rewarding path of intelligent viticulture. This choice to trust nature was made very early on. Initially, it was Pierre's strong desire to craft great wines and Sophie's lifestyle (respect for the environment and healthy eating) that resonated together as a natural fit. The couple then embarked on this path, a form of agriculture based on...biodynamics, in contrast to the Champagne practices of the time.
