Currently, the Château Phélan Ségur is run by the Gardinier family, who have breathed new life into the domaine since their acquisition in the 2000s. The family prioritizes an artisanal approach, favoring quality over quantity, and works to pass on a winemaking heritage rich in traditions while innovating for the future.

Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Phélan Ségur The winemaking process is carried out with care and precision. After the grapes are hand-harvested, they are rigorously sorted to retain only the very best. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, allowing for optimal temperature regulation. The wines are aged in oak barrels, some of which are renewed each year.
