    Vinification and aging

    Winemaking at Bodegas Chacra is carried out with a minimalist approach, favoring the natural expression of the fruit and terroir. The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully sorted. Fermentation takes place in wooden or stainless steel tanks, using indigenous yeasts, to preserve the aromatic complexity of the Pinot Noir. Aging occurs in French oak barrels, a limited proportion of which are new, so as not to mask the wine's character. The wines are neither filtered nor fined, in order to maintain their integrity and authenticity.
