Vinification and aging

The winemaking of Vouvray Demi-Sec Cuvée Adrien is crafted with meticulous care to preserve the freshness and aromas of the Chenin Blanc grapes. After hand-harvesting, the grapes are gently pressed. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at low temperatures to encourage the expression of varietal aromas. Aging on fine lees adds complexity and texture to the wine. A touch of residual sugar is retained to balance the acidity and enhance its lusciousness.
