Owner and history

The Clos Saint-Jacques vineyard, situated on limestone and marl soils typical of the Côte de Nuits, benefits from ideal exposure and natural drainage. These conditions allow the Pinot Noir vines to fully flourish, expressing all the richness and minerality of the terroir.

Vinification and aging

The Clos Saint-Jacques cuvée is vinified according to the traditional method of Maison Louis Jadot, favoring long fermentations in open vats to maximize the extraction of aromas and color. The wine is then aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, a proportion of which are new.
