Owner and history

The Château Fombrauge vineyard covers 57 hectares. The vines are on average 30 years old and are planted in clay-limestone soil over a limestone base containing asterias fossils. The soil is carefully tended on individual plots.

Vinification and aging

- Parcel selection
- Hand-harvested grapes
- Sorting to ensure that only the best grapes are used for winemaking
- Aged for 16 months, 40% of which is in new oak barrels
