The vineyards of Château Pichon-Longueville Comtesse de Lalande are renowned for their exceptional terroir, spread across terraces. On average, the vines are 35 years old and cover 70 hectares, 31 of which are cultivated biodynamically. The grape varieties are 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Petit Verdot. The soil consists of gravelly hillocks over a clay-sand subsoil. This truly exceptional terroir fosters the production of absolutely divine wines.

Vinification and aging

- Aged for 18 months in barrels (50% new oak and 50% one-year-old oak)
