Owner and history

The Château Nénin vineyard is located in Pomerol. La Fugue de Nénin is its second wine. Young Merlot and Cabernet Franc vines share the 32 hectares of vines planted in sandy-clay soils. The grapes benefit from excellent exposure on the Pomerol plateau. These conditions allow La Fugue de Nénin to become a fine wine with aging potential.

Vinification and aging

The grapes are harvested by hand. Vinification is traditional, with 12 to 20 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Fining is done with egg whites. Aging takes place in barrels for 18 months.
