The vineyard of Château Haut-Brion It extends over diverse soils, mainly composed of gravel and clay, offering optimal drainage and excellent sun exposure. This unique terroir allows the vines to produce grapes of exceptional quality, benefiting from a climat temperate oceanic climate. The vines, averaging 30 years old, are cultivated with care, respecting the principles of sustainable agriculture, thus guaranteeing the authenticity and typicity of the wines.

Owner and history

Since 2006, the Château Haut-Brion is owned by the Dillon family, who have managed to preserve the heritage and reputation of this grand cru. Under their leadership, the domaine has continued to innovate while respecting the traditions that have made it successful. The owners are committed to a sustainable approach to viticulture, seeking to minimize environmental impact while showcasing the expression of the terroir. Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Château Haut-Brion is a meticulous process that begins with a rigorous selection of the grapes. After hand-harvesting, the bunches are destemmed and gently crushed. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, allowing for precise temperature control. Aging occurs in oak barrels, a percentage of which are new, to impart complexity and structure to the wine. This care at each stage ensures that le Clarence de Haut-Brion 2025 fully reflects the ancestral know-how of domaine.
