Vinification and aging

Winemaking at Domaine E. Guigal is a meticulous process, blending tradition and modernity. The grapes are hand-harvested and carefully sorted to guarantee their quality. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, allowing for precise temperature control. The 2018 Côte Rôtie Château d'Ampuis is aged in oak barrels, some of which are new, to add complexity and depth to the aromas. This care at each stage of winemaking reveals the full richness of the terroir and results in a wine of great elegance.
