The Veuve Clicquot vineyards stretch across the prestigious terroirs of Champagne, where chalky and clay soils foster high-quality viticulture. The House cultivates carefully selected plots, offering a diversity of climates and micro-terroirs. Champagne benefits from a continental climate, with cold winters and hot summers, ideal for grape ripening. These climatic conditions, combined with time-honored expertise, result in grapes of exceptional quality, essential for crafting wines of character.

    Owner and history

Today, Veuve Clicquot belongs to the LVMH group, a world leader in luxury goods. This acquisition has allowed the house to preserve its heritage while providing it with the resources necessary for innovation. The current owners are committed to respecting tradition while exploring new frontiers in winemaking. They ensure that each bottle of Veuve Clicquot Champagne tells a story, one of unique expertise and exceptional terroir, all while adhering to a sustainable and responsible approach.

    Vinification and aging

The winemaking process for Veuve Clicquot Brut Rosé Champagne is a mastered art. The hand-harvested grapes are gently pressed to preserve their integrity. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, allowing for precise temperature control. The wine is then blended with reserve wines to ensure consistency across the cuvées. For this rosé, a short maceration of the Pinot Noir skins is carried out, imparting a delicate hue and aromas of red fruit. After aging in the cellars for several years, the champagne is disgorged and dosed to offer a unique tasting experience.
